self-sabotage

the end of this article almost made me tear up:

Generally, everybody starts giggling, blushing, and squirming until I ask, if not you, then who else? Which of course is the truth. . . . If you deliberately plan to be less than you are capable of being, then I warn you that you’ll be deeply unhappy for the rest of your life. You will be evading your own capacities, your own possibilities.

we've replaced a handful of books recently and i finally finished Suttree! i think i may have started an actual reading habit and i couldn't be happier. 

this video was thoroughly enjoyable and took me places i did not expect to go. ugh, i miss traveling and being in public spaces. my heart now aches. well done.
